Getttin a Lil X rated

While i was enjoying my thanksgiving holiday with my family I made sure I tried a new beer for the holiday. The new beer that I drank for the thanksgiving was Dos Equis. A popular beer that is imported from Mexico.  Dos Equis was first brewed back in 1897. I am sure everybody has seen those Dos Equis commercials about the "The Most Interesting Man" if not heres the link for one of the commercials http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI58wj4b4g0. I must say they are very funny the commercials, but back to the beer, from my bar experiences it is a well known and carried beer.

After trying it, it sort of tastes like a Corona. It has a sour taste to it and a gold hue as does the Corona beer has. I have been told that it goes well with a nice burrito or taco. Also it is better enjoyed in the summer. It is a refreshing taste on a hot summers day. If I had to choose between corona or dos equis I would definitely choose corona based on the fact that I am use to corona. I feel like dos equis will grow on you after you start drinking it more and more. Unlike its competitor Corona the Dos Equis bottle makes the beer seem like it has a darker color to it, it almost makes it look like a Guinness beer but do not let the bottle deceive you. It is by no way the same as a Guinness beer this beer will not leave you with a full feeling so if you get the chance buy a six pack of this and ENJOY!!!
